However, a point to note, Cheap Monday's illustrious designer, Ann-Sofie Back should be celebrating the opening of its first LDN shop at Selfridges by the close of this week.
If I was live and kicking pre-1990's I would welcome the above-the knee denim shorts, cropped bomber jackets and laced tops with a mild nostalgic gratitude. Would Ann-Sofie, the Swedish avant-garde designer flush with pride at this remark? With a quizzical reputation, few past collections have indulged the lovers of cosmetic surgery as well as those partial to the dildo. But hidden beneath the depths of Cheap Monday and ironically under the watchful eye of her assistant, Back has found the perfect balance between interesting and commercially viable with the S/S collection found amongst rails today. However, this is Ann-Sofie Back and there is ALWAYS the impossible, incredible and unpredictable.
Nonetheless I almost want to kick Ann-Sofie Back for only opening a men's department in Selfridges regardless of the anything but cheap brand value.
Guess I'll be sticking to my cross and skull T's from the reliable UO.
Yours Truly X
